Yards ~ Chocolate Love Stout

Yards brewery is a Philadelphia brewing company started in 1994 by Brewmaster, Tom Kehoe who began in Manayunk and later upgraded and revitalized an industrial facility along the Delaware River. From what I can tell they also seem to care about being as "green" as they can and think about the life cycle of the brewing process. I say lets raise a glass to that!!! They offer a good selection of fine craft beers that all are very good for most everyone's tastes. So try to find it in your local pud or beer shop and enjoy.

Chocolate Love Stout

This is a very enjoyable beer that is smooth with long lasting taste. It's rich in flavor and goes down like silk. Great creamy month feel that is well balanced in my opinion. I would however say this is a great fall / winter brew. I am in air-conditioning so it's all good. :) I had this one 750ml. with others who very much enjoyed it too so I think you too would enjoy even the a hop lover would appreciate this brew. Until the next Pint, happy tasting :)

Summer Love

If you like IPA's then you should enjoy this brew and its a great pick for the summer as its nice and light yet still crisp for that hot summer day. This beer does hit on the hoppy side so be prepared if you think its going to be a simple clean ale cause its not. Till the next pint, Happy tasting :)

CMBC ~ The Bog

The is the other beer which is their Cranberry Shandy, a 3.9% brew which is heavy in the front with sweetness but tappers down quick to reveal a nice flavorful beer with notes of cranberry Qing great month feel. Your lady should find this one enjoyable. Till the next pint, happy tasting :)

CMBC ~ Sophisticated Lady

CMBC stands for Cape May Brewing Company. We had two brews here; the fiat is this one I'm writing about which is a nice clean and crisp brew with a light note of sweet hoppiness. It's not an IPA but is a well balanced beer for the summer, which is why it's there summer ale. Till the next pint, happy tasting

2013 Cuvee Van De Keizer
This is a Belgian Ale and WOW, my friends and I have called this one Jesus in a bottle. It's simple an amazing complex and delightful experience of a beer....THIS IS WHY I LOVE BEER. When you find a brew like this that just explodes with flavors its so fun. More on this one to follow about this beer. 10 out of 10 in my book. So till the next pint, happy tasting :)

Starr Hill ~ The Love

This brewery (Starr Hill) is located in Charlotteville, VA and has been in operation since Sept 1999. The guy who started it; Mark Thompson (Master Brewer) was trained in Portland, OR and returned to VA to open up his own and may I say good brewery. It's also really cool because he opened the place on Main street where the first craft beer of VA was. The story does not end there as Mark had to move to a bigger place in 2005 so that you and I could enjoy some good brews. Thank you Mark.

The Love - Wheat Beer

First off I should say that I very much enjoy wheat beers. The style for me is just super tasty. Its not hoppy. I like the cleanness of this beer and feel its well balanced. I found it tightly up front with a great finish. Lots of head on this beer and a great beer for a summer day....or night. I think if your into Hefeweizen's you'll find this beer a great buy. Till the next pint, happy tasting :)
